To achieve the vision of full-time, full-area communication in 6G and satisfy the demand for low-latency, high-availability space information services, the LEO satellite Internet is expected to evolve from private protocols based communication to terrestrial-satellite converged communication, which can supports the direct connection between mobile phones and satellites, and eventually move towards the integration of communication, navigation and remote sensing. The discussion includes related network architecture and key technologies, and application scenarios are also introduced. %U https://journal.bupt.edu.cn/EN/abstract/article_5326.shtml
