%X  Ideological work is an extremely important task of the Communist Party of China. As the forefront of ideological work, universities shoulder the responsibility of providing talented graduates and intellectual support for the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. Entering the new era, the ideological battlefield of the Internet plays a very important role in the ideological work of universities, and the ideological work through the Internet has also been placed in a prominent position in the ideological work of universities, with its importance and timeliness becoming more prominent. This article focuses on the overall situation of network ideological work in universities in the new era. In response to the profound changes unseen in a century, the common problems and manifestations of network ideological work in universities are analyzed, the strategies and practices of carrying out network ideological work in universities in the new era are sorted out. By integrating theory with practice, implications for doing high-quality network ideological work in universities in the new era are provided.
